WEST BYRON MEGADEVELOPMENT

IT'S still NOT A DONE DEAL
This map shows the area of the new Site R&D development (all the coloured areas in pinks and yellow). The red lines over the coloured areas are the old DA area so you can see there is little difference between the old and the ‘amended version’ – mostly tinkering at the edges. The white area in the middle is Villaworld (not part of the this development right now).

Don’t let West Byron Mega development drown the town.

This is our last chance to have input on this Development Application.

We need the Land and Environment Court to come to the same conclusion as the NRPP, but we will not get the public hearing that we did with the NRPP.

The Court will decide what happens on that site and it will likely be final. It is still a massive overdevelopment of the site. Our submissions need to persuade the Court of the rightness of our case and that there are sound reasons why this development is too large and not suited to this site.

Your written submissions need to reflect the diversity of objections as a mum or dad, teenager or grandparent, surfer, tradesperson, businessperson or local resident. Maybe someone who loves nature, a retiree on how this project will personally adversely affect you and Byron Bay. Tell them real stories of how it will affect you as an objector and the region rather than just repeating the objections.
